Hi There!
My name is Abigail Ernst, but I go by Abbie. I traded in my saltwater seas for freshwater lakes when I moved to Madison, WI from Claremont, California, for college. I am a lover of cats, gardening, good beer, and waking up extra early to visit the farmer's market.
Education
I recieved my undergraduate degree in Environmental Studies and International Studies from the University of Wisconsi-Madison. I am currently continuing my education at UW-Madison to get my Master's Degree in Water Resources Management. I am passionate about using outreach to engage with communities about freshwater science, conservation, and accessibility.
Experience
I have several years of experience managing water resources with governmental agencies through waterways permitting, evaluating and relaying drinking water chemistry information, and surface and groundwater sampling. I am currently managing the outreach of my cohort's thesis project.
